Hi, folks!
I was trying to render an old scene of mine using the physical camera and sun. Everything goes well, except the trees. I've always used standard mats for that, with opacity maps and stuff and has always worked, but with the Physcam and Sun all trees come out black. Th opacity is recognized, but not the diffuse. Same thing happens with atmospheric stuff such as smoke, which also comes out black. Anyone knows what is going on? |

I would post that question in the vray forum. Sounds like it may be a bug. I have not seen it myself since I never use standard materials or opacity maps. But you may want to do search on the vray forum, and/or post a thread on the bug report.

same happens to me - to get around it try opening another vray file that works, save it and delete everything - then merge your new file. The vray materials will work then. There must be some kind of MR bug in there that is not seeing vray materials.
