One thing is for sure George, Clients will take the Piss if you let them. I suspect the woman also has a little of the interior designer in her, Spotting the fact that there where no flowers, and for that one little change, could be hours of work, if you then have to find the right flowers, alter materials, make proxies, do more light calculations, and more rendering....or even worse, run into rendering problems.
When I saw the thumbnail of your image, i thought the colours/images looked a little cartoony, but when i opened the image, I thought, Bloody Hell, you have done well to get that done in 16 or so hours... I think that even if you spent a further 16 hours doing all the changes, The end result would only be say 10% improvement, and if thats what they want and are prepared to pay,then fine. Some will just keep requesting changes, as a delay tactic, maybe some do it on purpose, SO THEY CAN BREAK OUT OF THE CONTRACT(its all down to the contract), Perhaps clients need to be taught the Law of dimminishing returns.
