Never thought realflow was easy, and without knowing it inside out, I would expect it to crash on simulation on a scene like the one proposed... you might have to build a special Low Poly Version of the main landscape and simpler building blocks or cyl' to represent the walls of the buildings.

would GLUE be a simpler but perhaps cruder method?
