Difference between Mix and blend maps?
Hi, can anyone briefly explain the difference between using a mix modifier to a arch mat or a blend mat right away?
Say, I want to replicate a worn metal painted surface on a pot...I'd put a mix modifier to a chrome mat. In color one, a falloff for the tint, then in color two a rust map. Both controlled by a Perlin Marble map for instance. Would that work or would using a blend mat right off the bat?
If so, why?
