So that's how you do it! I'll try and sort that out by the summer then
Seriously - the first order of my day last year was to blag tickets to whatever party was happening that evening.

The workshops/seminars are generally programmer related but its worth attending if you have any interesting in scripting or the topic under discussion.

Definitely check out the gallery and animation theatre - some cool work (if not necessarily ArchViz).

Looking forward to the DVC (see those of you in Monaco very soon!). I'll try and get my act together this year so that we can have a mini fR users group (even if its informal).

Yes! We have to get that in the works a little earlier than the day before the conference starts this time. I think the FR users would come out of the woodworks for something like that.

Don't forget the much anticipated second annual caraoke party. Se the thread here: http://www.cgarchitect.com/vb/18458-...-photos-2.html
Seriously. that was the most fun I have had in a long time. If we're luck we will find another live band caraoke club and Evert can jam on the keys a bit.

I was out of town for the last two weeks and am just now getting to reading up on past posts.

So it looks like I'm going to make it a four or five day en devour to catch a couple days of siggraph and of course dvc.

.......and bring a hot chick....GOT IT. Oh crap, I just dumped my hot chick. hmmm.... well I've got time to rope the next one :-)

Of those who go do you try to make it every year?

Thanks for all the tips guys! I've been wanting to do this for quite sometime, looks like this year I'll finally get the chance.

I try to go every year, and have been for the last 5 years. It doesn't hurt that my company pays for the trip but even if I were self employed I would try to go. The biggest value for me is the enthusiasm for graphics that I come back with.

Yup, I would not miss it for the world. This year will be my 11th consecutive year.
