Hi, Id like to know how to render big scenes
I use 3D Studio Max 8 and Vray 1.47 CPU Core 2 Duo 2.13 ghz 2 gigas RAM ATI RADEON 512 MG X1600 PCI express can anyone help me please? I attached a pic that shows my problem. Thanks , O.C. |

Try turning some of your geometry into vray mesh. Good place to start is with any 3D trees that you have in the scene, then instance them...don't copy them. I saw what looked to be some Arch models from Evermotion in you scene. Those are historically very high poly count. I would vray mesh those too. Your problem is you are running out of memory because of this high poly count...vray mesh rules for this.

Also, there has been a 64bit windows for a while now, it will give your 32bit programs about twice as much memory, and 64bit programs alot more...
