Thanks for the input...it was really just a quick exercise for me to take the render elements and composite in PS with the zdepth channel/lens blur filter. I've only recently started doing renders this way because it's definately quicker (at least for me) and it affords much more control than trying to get the 'perfect render' with Vray DOF, esp when on a tight deadline. I'm basically experimenting the Chris Nichol's compositing workflow posted here:http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...83883#poststop, except in PS.
