Like I said before, it's really nothing new...I was just experimenting with compositing the render elements and using the zdepth for DOF. Someone mentioned rendering it straight out in Vray using DOF, and yes, that's fun too...but first of all it takes longer to render and you're stuck with what you get. I prefer using the lens blur filter in PS because it's quicker, it allows much more control of the final image, and it's easier/quicker to make any changes, at any time.
