Default Office Interior for Interior Designer

Hey all!

This is my first Finished Work post here.
This is a project I just completed for an Interior Designer.
I know you're going to say ,"Another Chamfer box furniture scene!!?" but thats what the designer wanted!

Let me know what you think,

Andrew

Nice work.

Are couches custom made, or is he going to buy it. We use them in the exhibition industry all the time, so if tey are bought, then your chamfer conrners are chamfered too much on those armrests.

Here is a picture from one of our stands where we used those chairs.
If my point is not valid then please just ignore it

it's called the corbusier chair, it's probably the most over used chair in this industry. hehehe

nice images, you should definately work on your exterior as it won't fly with allot off people who want's vizualization, one important thing that you should remember is that when an interior is done the exterior is much brighter and sometimes blow out.

cool man

I think the image would look much better, if you did away with the ceiling lights, and just lit the room using GI and an external sun light. The image is contradicting itself at the minute..

You have a bright image outside, sunny looking and bright sky etc.. but internally, there are no sun shadows.. and then instead of sun shadows, we have a few downlights, that arent really creating any defining shadows / edges etc..

It does look a nice image, but I think it could be a lot better just by making it a more "simple" setup..

Agree with the background comments as well..

The background was photoshopped in afterwards that's why it looks funny. The original background was a low res one the designer REALLY wanted in the image so I didn't want to post it up here. I WAS going to use a winter forest background because that lighting is very soft but I felt the light color was wrong and didnt have time to re-render? I'm going to re-render with a cooler color enivro light and input the winterscape background. I'll try turning off the interior lights as well.

What did you mean about the detail in the down lights? Do you mean im missing the ring that goes around the ceiling? And what is the best way to create downlights that create hard shadows?

Thanks, keep it comin

The lighting was done using an environment light with a increased multiplier....i think 15. Three vray spheres in the three downlights and there was some lighting in the background which was for another camera angle.

Thanks for your appreciation.

Also maybe increase the sub-divisions of refelctive glossines on your couch leather. I can see white speckles.
