Hi all,
For some unknown reason one of my "superiors" wants me to render a max scene with a background video through video post. Dont know why as there are perfectly good licenses of premier or after effects installed on most of the machines. Now the problem, video post is clunky and quite crap, the help files on this one dont seem to be helping me along, and I can find nothing in the search button of the forums. All I want is for the alpha of the max scene (the black area where there are no objects) to display the video, but I just cant get the thing to work, its driving me mad as its a 20 second job in premier. Can anyone help? And it must be in video post. Thanks all. |

Hi,
Render a sequence of the alpha's first. Place your 3d sequence and original footage both in vp, at the same time. Select both sequencesand add a alpha composition filter over it. (this is all from memory from max3.1... should be still the same though) rgds, nisus
