Default AVC 2007 - Accepting Qualification Entries

The competition website will be further updated over the next few weeks, but the call for qualification entries has now been opened:

http://www.cgarchitect.com/challenge/2007challenge/

Good Luck to Everyone.

If there are any questions about the competition or if you see any errors (there might be some), please post them here.

I can't see teams mentioned anywhere - is the competition only for individual entries this year?!

Yes based on the lack of success with the team concept last year, I opted not to bring it back again this year. This is only an individual competition now.

Hello Jeff,

Do we need to re-register to submit qualification images? The page will not allow me to use my information I use now to login.

The forums and the main CGA site use two seperate login and registration systems.

Why are there two regis'...?

and can i ask something , I personally don't think i will entre as the type of work i do is never up to the standard at the competition stage .......
but i do feel it alienate a lot of people like myself , who never get past the qualifing round..............

may be there will a better way to qualify in the future.

or maybe like the Cg challanges everybody can entry, and they way those of us who are not given the artistic freedom in our everyday jobs might get to go wild, and win something............

a rant i know but ....may be worth reading ............
