lovely view and atmosphere.

but there is a problem with the scale in the image, I know is a wip but the water looks small and the cliff looks normal size, which makes the building seem small scale.

great start.

I really like the idea of a flooded city. The mood that you are going for is great. Try adding more patched of buildings in the background.

Hi Miaomiao...

What a dramatic start! I like it very much and especially the lighting which together with the water creates a cold and damp feeling to it. I haven't read your story yet and the image has intrigued me to read it.

I would agree with others with respect to the background structures. To me they seem disengaged from the main subject (your building in the foreground) and seem to serve only as background filler, if they were integrated more somehow to the foreground it would reinforce the dramatic view you are establishing.
