Default Canvas distribution

Jeff,

I want to know if there is a rule that regulates the percentage of the canvas that needs to be occupied by the provided model. Please refer to the image here I posted here:

I just want to be sure that I will not loose any points if I go for something like that.

There is no specific rule about how much of the image has to be the model, but the key is to remember it is first and foremost an archviz competition and the judges will be judging your skills as an architectural visualization artist. That having been said I think your composition is ok, but that's about as far away from the model I think is reasonable. Any more and it starts to become a matte painting competition and not an arch viz competition.
