Default 8 Core Mac Pro Benchmark
So, I got to have a quick play, now Ive finally got it all setup.

Heres a quick render to give you an idea of the speed difference.

One is my old Dell Dimension 9150 - DuoCore 3.3Ghz with 4GB 533Mhz.
The other, my OctoCore Mac Pro with 2 x Quadcore Xeon 3GHZ and 4GB 667Mhz.

Hats off to Apple!

Yep, that's fast. Not fair, really - the Dell is a Pentium D, right? Those are pretty pathetic.

Try Cinebench on it.

Yeah PentD, but hey it was a HUGE upgrade from my 1.4GHZ Athlon! As is the new mac!
