The thing on the table is an Orrery, a model of the solar system popular in the old days.

I think the most acceptable form of marketing yourself is just sending dozens of letters out with a glossy sample or two then following up with a phone call.

Worked when I tried it a couple of years ago it but it's no fun.

Thanks IC.

I checked on Google, thanks for the information on Orrery.

Okay, letter would be a hard copy and some prints. Sounds good. It really takes my entire strength out when it comes to calling. Though I know it has to be done.

Nice modeling and texturing. I especially like the wall. The diffuse glow is nice too. I don't care much for the rug, maybe if the tones were muted a bit.

Very good texture work and render. Do the glass light bulbs look like they are made of solid glass and not hollow inside? I really like the detail on your solar system model too.

Thanks. The glass is too thick. I was more interested in trying LightWave's new dialectric material than actually trying to make it look like bulb glass!
I changed it afterwards but I didn't like the chair in this one........
