Default I can't "Pan" with the wheel of my mouse!

I am a Photoshop CS2 user.
I can't "Pan" with the wheel of my mouse!
Is there any way to make that happen?
Thanks

make sure your middle wheel button is assigned as a 'middle button' not scroll.

under start--->settings-->control panel--->mouse--->buttons--->button assignments. make sure your middle button is set as a 'middle button' if it's set to scroll or anything else it'll give you a undesired effect.

hmmm. you may need to update your drivers...are you using a generic mouse with a scrollwheel/middle button combo? If not, your S.O.L. If so, check your drivers. Windows can identify most of the mice that are attached to it with generic settings. Hope this helps..
