Position Texture Tool

Okay, so I'm having an issue with the position texture tool. I'm using an evaluation version of SketchUp Pro, and I can't seem to find the position texture tool! This is what the help menu says:

Repositioning a Material

Repositioning the material is the easiest of position texture operations. To reposition a material:

<LI class=list value=1>Context-click on the material to display its context menu. <LI class=list value=2>Select the Position option from the Texture sub-menu. A matrix of dotted lines is displayed on the material to indicate the material's individual tiles. The cursor also changes to a hand and four pins are displayed. <LI class=list value=3>Drag the cursor on the surface to reposition the texture on that surface. If you want to rotate the tiled image, context-click on the surface again and select Rotate or Flip.
When you are finished modifying the texture, context-click and select Done, or just click outside the texture to exit the Position Texture Tool.

HOWEVER.. when I context click on the face, all I see is this:

Am I doing something increadibly wrong? Or is maybe the evaluation version void of this feature?

Can't tell for sure from the image - but is the texture on a curved surface? I can get the texture position option to come up in both the pro and free version on flat surfaces. I never tried on a curve until i saw your post - doesn't work on a curved surface for me in either version. I will try to find an answer, but can you try on a flat surface to make sure you get the option that way.

Oh, that is LAME. The whole reason I was trying to move the texture is because I couldn't add real windows to a curved surface.

I really don't like Sketchup.

You can set Hidden Geometrie and made it step by step

Or change one part of the Texture to the right position and take the color picker for this texture part. Now you can apply it again on the other faces and all should be on the right position.

you could also project the texture onto the curved surface instead of mapping it onto the surface.
