Default UV mapping along curved surfaces

Hey everyone. I am working on a project that has pool deck with a lot of curved paving patterns. Is there a way to map the UV along the curves? Or do I have to model each paver? I am modeling with Sketchup and rendering with Viz and Vray.

Thanks

Best bet for that would be to create the path lines in sketchup and then use those lines with either the sweep modifier or a loft, and have the sweep generate mapping coordinates. You may have to adjust the tiling in the map to get the right scale on each paver.

This method works real well unless you have a curve followed by a sharp corner, in which case the mapping gets screwy.

Yeah, coming from an outside program (sketchup, autocad, etc) you never get proper UV's. Modeling them in max/VIZ is definitely the answer.
