Default PSD Manager for MAX 9

Hello everybody

I am just new in this forum so I really don't know if my question's subject happens to be new too. If not, I hope I would be excused:
I recently installed the Psd manager 2.0 in MAX 9 and I was really happy about, because it is my most favorite tool. But my happiness was suddenly vanished when I discovered that I could not produce any psd file. Supposedly Psd manager 2 is made for MAX 9. Does anybody have the same experience ? Thank you in advance.

As far as I know, the PSD Manager is still not ready for Max 9, but that may be Ghostpainter. Not really sure.

Thank you anyway! Your answer was a relief. I was ready to believe that it was my fault at installation or (talking about Ghostpainter)... a Ghost in the Machine.
In the meantime I've heard about AF Exporter or such, and I am going to explore a little. Have a nice day.

Although PSD Mngr was released for 9 all right, apparently doesn't work ! I confirmed that with others with the same problem. I don't understand why an established company like Cebas didn't test the product before.

Well that's a bit odd as I'm using it on MAX9 daily.

Anyways, if it really doesn't work for you with max 9 for you why not complain directly to cebas for releasing such poor products ?

Then maybe there are some settings I miss. I don't know. I have to investigate further. Thank you.

PSD Manager does install on 9 and you need to go to the effect tab to choose your file name and PSD file type to save to a psd file.

I am trying it now with not much success. I can render out he psd file but when I combine all the layer the image doesn't look like the final image.

I have attached the two images comparing the two. If anyone knows if I am doing something wrong or if it just doesn't work please let me know

the Good rendering is what it looks like straight from Max
and Bad is what all the layers look like when they are combined in photoshop.
Attached Images
File Type: jpg Good rendering not in layers.jpg (105.6 KB, 30 views)
File Type: jpg Bad rendering in layers.jpg (106.1 KB, 29 views)
