September Meeting

We had another great meeting in September! Thank you to IMAGINiT for hosting our meeting, and providing the pizza and refreshments.

And a special thanks to Mark Gerhard of IMAGINiT, San Francisco, for coming up and speaking at the meeting. It was great to see the new features of 3ds max 2008 first-hand, and get answers to a number of questions on the new features.

We also got to see some of Nick Grant's student portfolio, which generated an interesting dialog about the images, and what future employers might be looking for in the portfolio and skill set of a prospective employee.

October Meeting!

Contrary to what I may have said before, we will be having an October meeting in downtown Chicago.

This meeting will be Thursday October 25th, at 17 N. State Street, Chicago, in suite #1375. The space and pizza is courtesy of our friends at Avatech Solutions.

As usual, pizza starts around 5:30pm, and the meeting begins at 6pm and runs until 9pm. Please feel free to come any time during the meeting!

How exciting. I didn't even know that there was a September meeting. I will be there for sure on Oct. 25th.
