Migrated the folder to XP x64 & Win2003 x64 with and without installed SP's (SP1 & SP2).
Since Vista SP1 is not official and I dont have it, I could not try LS on Vista SP1.

The screenshot above is LS 3.2 SP1 - thanks to seismograph for the SP1.
Confuse man, sorry, I mean LS SP1, how did you do that?
Installed LS SP1 on 32bit PC and then migrate or install on 64bit PC on already migrated folder?

Does'nt matter. You can install LS SP1 before migrating - on the 32bit system. Or you can install on the x64 system. Because after adding the reg keys, LS is offically installed, with all system paths. So the updater is able to find your LS 3.2 program location.
Only the add/remove feature in the control panel is missing - but who wants to uninstall Lightscape?

Running Lightscape on 64bit OS would allow LS to se 8GB of memory and even more, correct?
Sice this would be 64bit OS its limit is 8GB, I think....

No since Lightscape is a 32bit program it will only be able to use 4gigs, and it will never be upgraded to a 64bit program...sorry

One thing I dont understand...
Ive tested my old C2D on 2,80 GHz with 2GB ram VS. quad on 2,50 GHz with 4 GB of RAM... radiosity processing time was the same!
What are the resons for this?
...is it because LS doesnt see more then one core when processing? ... in that case I had a pure situation of 2,80 GHz agains 2,50 GHz....this seems logical!
But then again the question of memory remains....if one system had 2 GB and the other 4 GB, and both have 2,50 GHz of CPU power....shouldnt one be faster in processing then the other?!?!
Im running WinXP-32bit
Thanx!
