Default Homewood Suites - Gary Brink & Associates

Finally, I have my Modo game at a bit better level than before. Trying to get a nicer feel out of our stuff. Anyways, render time of 2 hrs, 21 minutes.

CC requested.

P.S. I know you'll hate the birds. I like them tho once in awhile.

yes nice...those roofs however...maybe if you introduced the flashing at the valleys and chimneys it would break it up a little...define the volumes...just seems to expansive...maybe more texture...

That's funny because the first thing I thought was..I don't really like that glow. I'd up the environment lighting and put a horizon tree line back there.

Thanks for the responses. I wish I had some nice shingle bitmaps tho. I only have a small one.

I was going to put another building in the bg...still might.

Take a look here, I have been working with the local Certainteed Sales Manager to obtain larger images and make them available for Architects and Designers. We have a way to go, but we are getting closer.

I don't care for the glow because because it doesn't really seem to be based on a real phenomenon nor is it so stylistic that you able to write it off as such.

The roofs are expansive. It would be nice if you could introduce some depth or a break betweeen the smaller building in the foreground and the larger structure in the background. Right now the shingles from one blend right in to the other.

In keeping with Matt's observation, to break up the roofs a bit you might want to include some of the penetrations that occur, vent pipes, ridge vents, and valley flashing and the like... your modeling is very nice.
