If you're referring to the icon for accessing the material library inside of VIZ4, it's under the rendering tab (the 4 spheres). On the "Main Toolbar", it's next to the rendering icons (the teapots).
If you're looking for the files themselves, they are in (by default): C:\Program Files\Autodesk VIZ 4\Matlibs. The Map files are in : C:\Program Files\Autodesk VIZ 4\Maps Did this help? |

After private emailing, I realized one of the things he was looking for was the little collection of spheres that came up in the material tab. Each sphere had a material on it. Like, when you clicked on the wood sphere, it would open the wood.pat library. And when you click on the metal sphere, it would open the metal.pat library.
Anyone else miss this feature? Has anyone perhaps come up with a script or something to "duplicate" that feature that has been done away with? |
