Revit File Linking control ---------------------------------------------------------------- More / better control of how Revit models are File Linked into Max --------------------------------------------------------------- DETAILED DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------------------- Having the ability to control how Revit models are imported into Max will make handling Revit models more efficient. It is inefficient to have every element of a Revit model as individual elements and as a block in Max. I'd rather have like elements brought in as one object, such as all the glass panes in a curtain wall as one object, the mullions as an other and the frames as an other. If I want to separate then then leave it to me to do it manually. --------------------------------------------------------------- WHY THIS REQUEST IS IMPORTANT TO YOU --------------------------------------------------------------- Max is notoriously bad at handling 10000's of individual objects. Simplifying the object count makes navigation and rendering faster and less prone to crashing. |
