Default Water Material.

Hello.
I had a problem made a water material. Does anybody know how to make a good setting for water material in vray? What is fallof used for??
Please help me..thank you

Falloff is a little tricky to explain. I usually use it in the opacity or reflection map. You can find the description of falloff in the instruction manual.

Fall off has to do tith the angle though whitch the camera is viewing the material. if you apply fall of to a table for example, the more you look at the table top horizontally, the more the reflection will be visible. same goes for transparency

I generally make my water material almost completely clear (as water usually is) with a small bump map, and a falloff for reflections. I then focus most of my time on making the bottom of the pool, fountain or whatever look very realistic.
