Default Mapping an image onto a terrain

I have followed the process of mapping an image onto a terrain step by step, and still the image appears to be fragmented. I've gotten this to work before, and for whatever reason I can't get it this time. Does anyone know of anything that I could be doing wrong... here is a screenshot.

In this image you can see I have a plane setup to the right size, above my terrain, and the terrain below still has a fragmented image.

Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure both images are in the same group and then right click the texure, go to the Texture menu and make sure PROJECTED is checked.

I finally figured this out - somehow or another I had a different image mapped to the bottom side of the top plane that was interferring with projecting it onto the terrain. Thanks for the help!
