Hi All,

I have been a Lightscape user for many many years, and this problem has plagued me for much of that time. I have an issue when I select multiple surfaces, then deselect surfaces, the display doesn't refreash automatically. I have to hit F5 all the time. I just upgraded my video card, from a Geforce3 ti500 to a Radeon 9800 Pro... hoping that the issue would be fixed. In the Geforce, I would select a surface and it would highlight in red, but not the whole surface would be highlighted... I would have to hit F5. With the Radeon, I can select a surface, and it gets all highlighted, but if I click on the same surface again, it doesn't deselect on the screen, until I hit F5

When I had the Geforce3 ... I tried all kinds of different drivers... nothing helped. With this new Radeon card ... I am using the latest 3.8 Catalyst package ...

Help would be very much appreciated Funny how I thought that this was an Nvidia issue, and it doesn't seem to be the case.

Well it's definetly a driver issue, so you are going to have to mess around with alot of settings to see if you can fix it, but there is a good chance you will just have to live with it. While Lightscape is an awesome tool, it will be the hardware that will be the end of it all. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before the OS breaks something that will prevent LS from even running.
