more intelligent sub-object selection sets
Sub-obj selection sets in Max suck because, for instance, select some edges, save the selection, then later cut some new edges and delete 1 or more from your selection, the selection is completely messed up. Max renumbers all the edges to suit it's mathematical model (this can NEVER benefit the Artist), rather than keep our arbitrary selection. Max should simply keep all selected edges in the selection, regardless of continued modeling; so what if I delete an edge from my original selection? -simply display the edges I HAVEN'T deleted from it -I can't ask more than that. why this is important to me I think this request is clear enough, and arguably falls under 'bug fix' because the way it currently works is so useless that it is essentially broken. |
