Default Node Based Material Editor / Hypershade

----------------------------------------------------------------
SHORT TITLE FOR SUGGESTION/BUG/ENHANCEMENT REQUEST
----------------------------------------------------------------

Node Based Material Editor / Hypershade

---------------------------------------------------------------
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF YOUR REQUEST
---------------------------------------------------------------

Since the material-editor is an old-fashioned, slow to use and cluttered tool even in Max2008 I think we need a node based material editor: (Like Maya has it)

ONE visual control-center for creating and maintaining the following:
shader-trees
light-connections
cameras + camera connections
accessing maps

There is a great design-study to improve the existing hypershade here:

---------------------------------------------------------------
WHY THIS REQUEST IS IMPORTANT TO YOU
---------------------------------------------------------------

Implementing a tool like describe above would:
-Save screen property (one window only)
-Would clean up the tool-bar (tools like the light-lister could be erased)
-Would speed up work-flow
-Would finally deliver what about 100.000 Max-users are asking for since ages...

YES! I've wanted a node based material editor for a long time now - haven't seen any of the ones in development with quite the features I want (although NodeJoe is getting close).
