Default switchable auto mode

Whenever I eg: select something, add amodifier or whatever, the cursor switches to "move". This is a pain in the ass, and I'd like them to at least makae this a preference checkbox option.

why it's important to me.
Workflow improvements usually matter more to me than new features, and this had bugged many people for many years.

Default Re: switchable auto mode

can do

press -
'Q - Selection mode
'W - Move mode
'E - Rotate mode
'R - Scale mode

With any one of them you can select, but if you are in selection mode 'Q', it will only select.

repeat pressing 'Q' for different selectin modes eg. box, circle, paint, custom drag..
cool

oh... read the sticky on how to post in this wish list

Yeah, I know, but it keeps switching automatically anyway; if I press Q, I don't want it to switch to W until I tell it to, that's all.

weird, never had that problem.

maybe its the mouse or keyboard setup itself, i have had problems with the dutch setup on the keyboard. I work on the english uk setup, but every other time it will swith automatically to dutch setup and some shortcuts on&or functions change totally, such as using the comma ',' or full stop '.' to enter decimal values.
