SHORT TITLE FOR SUGGESTION/BUG/ENHANCEMENT REQUEST ---------------------------------------------------------------- 'Connect' uses real world slide/pinch size --------------------------------------------------------------- DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF YOUR REQUEST --------------------------------------------------------------- when using the 'connect' command i would like to be able to specify the distance from the edges in real world units rather than as a percentage of the edge's length. --------------------------------------------------------------- WHY THIS REQUEST IS IMPORTANT TO YOU --------------------------------------------------------------- the current 'percentage' method makes it difficult to place new edges accurately. usual technique applies - complete the operation and then move all your verts... there must be a more efficient way! i think this is possible in Lightwave but not sure |
