Autodesk has announced that it will no longer develop Autodesk VIZ, shifting it's entire VIZ development staff over to the 3ds Max software program.

though 3ds max is mostly the same as viz, but I cant forget my first radiosity renders on viz4, some posted here on the gallery.there was a difference between viz4 radiosity and max5 radiosity.

I Think it's Better for Autodesk coz Maya is now the Film and Animation production software and Max will be the master for Archviz and Game..

I think max need more effort to be the best for Archviz....

and I hope this will be better for the software

From my perspective, I will be sad to see it go away. I got my start in 3d years ago on Viz 2.0. But another part of me that sees the internal workings of 3dsmax will be happy to see it go.
