the Chicago Autodesk Animation User's Group Association (AAUGA) is for users of Autodesk 3DS Max, Maya and Motion Builder.

The March meeting scheduled for Thursday march 6th, at the Hagerman offices in downtown Chicago.

We expect to be in the Conference Room on the 20th floor. Hagerman's offices are in Suite 3010.

As usual, doors open around 5:30, delicious pizza will be served by 6pm, and the meeting proper will begin at 6:30. The meeting ends at 9pm sharp.
For 'swag', we have a bunch of cool tee-shirts, and a training DVD from CG Academy on Proceduralism in 3ds Max, and an Official Autodesk Training Courseware on 'mental ray Techniques'.

Because the weather in Chicago can be unpredictable this time of year, in the event of snow please be sure to check your email or the www.max3ds.com web site in case of cancellation.

Agenda

In addition to our usual 'show and tell' with user images and animations, we plan on beginning our discussions on mental ray this month.

Please feel free to bring digital and print versions of your work to share with the group!

Animate '08

January 2008 starts Chicago's "Animate '08" series of User Group meetings and demonstrations.

We'll be doing a little something every meeting to emphasize animation tools and techniques. We'll cover topics from ways to control animation paths, to animating mechanical assemblies, to Inverse Kinematics and Rigging.

For this meeting we'll be talking about Animation Controllers and the Curve Editor.
