thanks chutti... i'm taking my likings to this camera angle attached.. it's the only angle i could really show as much of what's going on in this "community" as possible!

started modelling the history museum interiors (subterranian), and will start with bar and restaurant tonight..uhh.. i'm really enjoying this, wish we had more time..but i guess the deadline IS the driving force here!

some eye candy...

i've been away for a couple of days, so now i'm back, and am going to try to spend as much of the time left working on this! so excited! =)

well, realizing that i've only got less than a day and a half left, plus or minus whatever amount of hours i can salvage for sleep, eating, what and what not, i have decided to breakdown the rest of my workflow into the following stages:

1- Museum basic modelling and lighting
2- Gardens & hardscaping (project related)
3- restaurant and entrance (far right)
4- bar area (far left)
5- landscaping (general site)
6- environment

I doubt i'll be able to spend more than 2 hours on each, and that will hardly even leave me any time to render the final image in high res... but since this is my first WIP, i'm going to post as many images as i can along the way...

Here's my first of the last.. step 1.. the museum.. i am concerned that the lighting is a bit dim, as i my intention for the final image is for the lighthouse to remain the most dominant... anyway, this is all still very much Work In Progress, and besides, i really need to get some sleep now

Looking nice.
Lot of stuff youve yet to do. Its evolved quite nice. The lighting seems to be ok - the lighthouse does stand out of the crowd. I know this is a WIP but be sure to crank up those antialiasing numbers
What sort of sculptures are seen here? Are they anyway related to the lighthouse? Just curious Are you heading for sunset lighting?

could always rely on you for fast 'constructive' curiousity Jakob! =)

very low antialiasing settings here, as these are only draft renders... i really am aiming to get all the modelling and basic night lighting (as in all the spotlights and ambient settings) out of the way before i can start focusing on mood and environment..

I'm setting myself tomorrow to finish all of the tasks mentioned above, and then the last 6 hours before the deadline to basically try to make whatever i can of mood and then render... pffff... wish i hadn't been so busy the last 3 days!

Beautifully. Two versions of the project? Lighthouse looks a bit weird like there's something wrong with perspective.

you really think so? i think it's ok! i mean i know it's a dynamic angle, but that was my aim initially..i'll look into it later if i have time..thanks for your input though!
