Distributed Rendering?

can anyone please point out to me how to work out distributed rendeing in MR max 2009? i've added the server names, but it will not connect as is. Do i have to load certain programs on the slaves first? like VRay? or is it through backburner? or is a standalone mental ray option only?!

Hello amer
Well the Distributed buckets Rendering some what a needs to have installed satelittes on other PCs. the MR satellite already installed with max and on other pc you can ask for mentalray satelitte copies from autodesk.

the important note to work is to make windows firewall permits satelitte server and hosts to work with out blocking them
