I haven't tried exporting from Max to Modo with the new FBX file format. I know you can't do that with previous 3dsmax versions. However, if you are looking for a camera match/tracker solution for Modo then make sure to check these guys out:

I downloaded the demo and here is my first Modo render. Time to render about 15 minutes 1200x1200.
