Hi there,
I need to render 6 frames in order to create a cubic Quicktime VR movie, and I need 3DS Max to save them as .jpg files. However, when I use Maxwell, all the frames are overwritten! I mean, in all 6 rendered frames, max sends the same image name to Maxwell, and I get 6 identic names in the "image" feld, in the render output settings... what do I need to do in order to have all six frames saved as jpg files, and not only the last one? Thx in advance |

Can't you send each of the six images separately giving them different names? It seems simple to me but I might be misunderstanding your questions.

That might be a question for the official Maxwell forum. Maybe there is a command line switch for incremental file names?

Thank you for the answers.
As for sending the images to the render engine separately, this is not possible; they have to be sent in sequence, due to the enormous time they take to render... Gosh, I never imagined that to do simple things in Maxwell such as setting up the light intensity and image sequence rendering would be so complicated... |
