I'm working on a viz project for a client and they supplied the 3d models of all the furniture in .dwg format. When I open the files I am in my top view (2d) but the models are showing up isometrically as 3d objects (the plan view furniture is truly 2d only). They are true 3d models but when I switch to a 3d viewport they are rotated and I can't seem to get them to rotate back to the proper orientation. Any ideas?
Also, is there a way to stop the 3d models from re-drawing constantly? I apologize if I should know this but I don't work in ACAD 3d very often. Thanks, Sean |

it's a little hard to understand the problem, but i suspect it has something to do with paperspace/modelspace
do you want to send me the drawing and i'll have a look for you ? |
