Default Revit Max Concept WIP

Hey guys here are some images of a concept that I am working on. It is inspired by the Kukulkan temple and TajMahal. It really is an exercise for me to guage pros and cons of the Revit to Max Workflow.

I will be posting more images as I make more progress. There is a reflecting pool to come and still have to do some work to do on the interior space.

Peace

Not bad, do you have Revit 2009? That new version dropped Accurender and adopted a version of Mental Ray as its built in renderer. You don't have as much control as in Max, but I can see my firm using it a fair bit until the final rendering is needed. It looks like it will fill the gap between Sketchup and Max nicely, without having to export models out etc...

This is done in Revit 2008. The concept will include a reflecting pool and a water wall that I intend to use the particle system in 3ds max to accomplish (good challenge). Also I want to experiment different lighting options and max will allow me to achieve those results.
I will be using Vray for visualization. Mentalray is a great new addition to Revit this year though. I might consider doing a metalray version of the visualization in 3ds max when I'm done with this one.

Here is an update from 3ds max with my initial lighting. I used a simple skydome for environment and 1 vray light for the sun. More updates to come soon.

Here are some updates to my little workflow test. No trees and entourage yet for test renders. Will change out the skies in post later.

Comments and critiques are much appreciated.
