Hi All,

To have nice reflections you need something nice to reflect, i.e. use a nice 'background' (not a plate, but a spherical environment). The MrSky is not detailed enough for this (unless you add clouds). Also beware of your point of view. When you are high up in the sky, any glass LOWER than the camera will not reflect sky.

rgds,

I used surface in the MR Connection rollout, under Basic Shaders.

Don't really understand what this does, but it work for me!

Cheers

Hey Will,

Basically means you have made the A&D shaders controls
mostly redundant as you have now handed control over
to the Lume shader. A simpler workflow and one carrying
less overhead would probably have been to use the Mental Ray
material type and put the Lume shader in the 'Surface' rollout
there!

regards
Bri

Got two modules that should go out by the end of this week,
providing of course that the universe stops conspiring against
us actually getting a module out!!!

Bri
