Default 2008 3D Awards/ Great videos, hard to score

I was scoring the submitted works for 2008 3D Awards online, and I found there are so many AMAZING works, so many thing we can learn from, meanwhile I found it's really hard for me to score, I m not sure if anyone else has the same feeling. As a 3d artist of architecture visualization, I feel something not 3d looks really great. It seems that I should give them high score but considering the name of this competition is 3D Awards, especially hosted by a famous architecture CG forum, I don't know what to do.

Any thoughts?

Yep. It's tough to decide. There is a lot of great talent here

some of the best animations i've ever seen in my life were submitted this year. It's true.. very tough to vote, though i dont think that you should deduct points for video content, since after all, it's Architectural visualisation after all, and whatever it takes to convey the message best is the medium that should be used.

As long as say at least 50% is 3D, then it shouldn't be a negative IMO.

Hmmm...50% 3D sounds reasonable, I have a great idea, maybe CGA can set up different awards just like Oscar, the best 3d modeling , textures, lighting and rendering, editing, visual effects, writing, directing, commercial, original...

That would be fun!
