I know this is a bit late, but I am just wanting to clarify if its worth doing the Vray training. Basically I have no experiance with Vray and desperately want to learn it and I saw the email about this training and think it could be perfect. But is this course going to be too advanced for someone who has never used the software before? I just need to know so I don't waste £425!!
Thanks |

Hi Kelly, This training is meant for someone who wants to learn v-ray in arch viz production. It's meant for people just learning V-Ray or those who want to improve their fundamental understanding or V-Ray. Based on what you've said I think this class would be perfect for you. I am however afraid we sold this class out early this morning. As well as the 3ds Max Int/Adv class and our Mental Ray class is almost sold out as well. We are taking names for the waiting list and if we get enough names, we will look at offering another class that week. On the training page, just click the wait list button and we will add your name to the list for a 2nd class or if there is a cancellation.

To elaborate on Jeff's explanation, we will cover just about all the important features in V-Ray. We will cover the basics but very briefly, after which I will move quite quickly into advanced concepts. That being said, you could be an absolute beginner and as long as you stay focused and can grasp difficult concepts easily, you can certainly stay with the discussion. I've taught a lot of absolute beginners that can absorb information like a sponge and seem to go to an intermediate level overnight. On the other hand, I've taught a lot of people that have to be reshown the same thing over and over again several times. I am not going to assume that anyone knows anything about V-Ray...although a thorough understanding of 3ds Max will be essential.
Hope that helps. |

Bah that's a shame as I really do need something like this as I am actually job hunting and to say I don't have any Vray knowledge is making things extra hard. So if I had got onto this training it would have been awesome. I have put in a waiting list request. I was wondering though what amount the people on the waiting list would have to pay? Would it be the full £575?
Thanks. |

Just a quick note that we just added a second v-ray class due to high demand on the waiting list. If you are still interested be sure to register ASAP as we are anticipating the class selling out.
