Default editing xfrog plants 2.0

hey,
Has anyone had any luck editing the trees in the Xfrog plants 2.0 libraries. So far I've tried the standalone version 3.5 windows app and the alpha plugin for 3ds max 9 without any success. The windows app can open the file but doesn't give access to the parmeters. In general I think that the quality of the models are great but not being able to edit anything really limits their usefullness. Hopefully someone has found a solution.

This probably doesn't help you, but Xfrog trees are totally editable in Cinema 4D. I would email them for tech support if you can't find a solution.
