Need tree grid of any kind texture to map into a plane in a render, please!

Hows about drawing out the patern in photoshop or illustrator and use it as an alpha map on a plane with a metal texture.

I would do it in AutoCAD. Draw 1/4 of it and then mirror copy the rest. Convert everything to polylines and then use extrude command to make it 3D. Export to 3ds.
