Michael,
The issue has been reported on Cebas forum under "PSD Manager 2 and opacity mapped objects" 3-4 months ago!!! As already concluded the problem is with VRay's g-buffer.

Ok Erik, Thanks for reporting. Sorry there is no solution. We try to work as closely and actively with other developers to ensure compatibility but if a renderer does not support proper gbuffers there is not much we can do but try to help them offer this support.

We will continue to do this for sure!
