Hi All,
I'm new, so if my questions sound simplistic please bear with me. I'm a Maya artist, so totally new to sketchup... I'm looking to build a cityscape. I'm trying to use google earth and sketchup to get the buildings and ground plane. My question is: 1. What is the workflow to get models into sketchup from G.Earth, I know about the get current view option, but that just gets the flat ground plane... 2. How do I get the buildings etc in there at the right locations? Does this have to be done manually by going to the google 3d warehouse button then getting a building and scaling adjsuting etc.. Just wonder if there is an easier and more accurate way of doing this? Thanks |
