Default Family House

Hello everyone!

Here are my new renderings of a family house for a development company.
Had two days to finish. Modeled and rendered in Max3d using vray 1.5 sp1.
Trees created using onyx tree storm. Comped in Photoshop.
Hope you like it.

Cheers!
Lucas

These look really great Lucas...my only nitpick is the people. The child in the first image and the couple in the second are a bit off in brightness/contrast...other than that everything looks really great.

I think they look great, the only things are that I think you're roof looks a little flat and the grain on your wood texture going round the eaves looks as though its at an angle.

birdman67 : yes your right ... I'am still learning how to comp people into my renderings. Thanks!

SandmanNinja : I've modeled them out. and just instanced them on the roof.

slinley : These are the roof tiles we are using in Poland

as for the wood ... I dont see anything wrong with it.

Really nice rendering and modelling, but extremely ugly house! - not your fault I know :P

Can you talk more about how you modelled the roof, i'm really bad at that at the moment, like did you model one tile and instance them creating a whole "sheet" of the tiles, rotated em to the right angle and boolean them to make the shape?

own1221 : lol ... yes the architecture is very "specific" ;D
The roof is very simple. Just modeled one tile and than instanced it. I've selected only the tiles on the edge for boolean.

HVB : Much appreciated!
