Default sketchup->proxy

Hi everybody!
Does anybody have a clue how to swap sketchup components exported to max for vray proxy instance?
I know about triangle faces+scattering procedure but maybe there's something more simple.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure i follow what you're asking, but to turn an object into a VrayProxy just right click on it and go to Vray Mesh Export in the quad menu.

I don't have an exact answer either, but I often use a SoulBurn Script called Object Replacer or something like that to replace items in scenes. I am guessing you can create a Vray proxy, set it as your object to be used for replacing in the script, then select everything you want replaced, and hit ok.

Quizzy's got one on his site that I use all the time: http://www.3idee.nl
under scripts, then "random replacer" Like the name suggests, it will randomly replace a set of objects with a predefined set of objects.

The issue:
1. I've got 50 components (houses for instance) in sketchup.
2. I export 1 of them to max and turn it into vray proxy.
3. Then I export the whole SU as .3ds and in max scene i try to swap meshes
(the remains of my su components) for proxy.
Is everything healthy in my workflow?

Many thanks SoulBurn Script Object Replacer. It works great with dwg blocks.
But with sketchup comp. meshes... max put pivots to 0,0,0, and changing to "pivots to object" does not align along meshes. Is there tool\script to solve it?
