you need to post more information if you want help.

Is this occuring when you try a certain function or is it happening after xx minutes of max being open?

Ive never tried to import a block but i'ver heard bad things about them...

Try exploding the block before you import it. I have no idea if this will work but it might be worth a try.

you are very far from the zero point.
i don't know if this has a relation whith your problem, but you should do this thing properly.
center your autocad drawing or export a wblock whith base point near your object. being too far from zero can cause many geometry problems....

you should first clean your autocad drawing, purge it, control it, center it around zero or move your ucs, AND THEN export it.

And from an earlier post:
Quote:
To centre the origin in AutoCAD (preparing to bring it into 3DS):

in autocad, use the 'move' command (M) and when asked to select objects, type 'all' (make sure all layers are on and not frozen/locked)

hit 'enter' and when asked for a base point, select a point in the center of your model (or where ever you want the origin to be).

once you have that, then type in 0,0,0 to move it - this is the origin point in autocad where the intersection of the X/Y/Z axis meet.
