Hy
I'm just testing a new workstation 8 cores Intel Mac-Pro on rendering with Max 2009, Vray Sp2 on Xp64, the task manager shows 50 CPU usage ? and on rendering the image there is only 4 buckets, should it not be 8 buckets for 8 cores ? |

be sure that if you are using the Light Cache in VRAY to set your "passes" to the number of cores in your machine.
This will speed up this part of the pre-rendering process... Adam BOXXlabs |

thanks for the advice, must i set it to the total of cores rendering in the network (4x2xquad cores xeon) or just the total of the local machine (2xQuad) ? |
